How Do I Set Up an Autoresponder? On our Windows 2003 servers, you would not have an admin email account for administration purposes and would need to use the Control Panel to administer your email accounts instead. For a demonstration on how this is done, please see our Windows 2003 Control Panel tutorials here. For text instructions, see the information below. An auto responder is a message that is automatically sent to anyone who emails a particular address. To set up an auto responder, 1. Log in to the control panel and select Domains. 2. Click on your domain name. Then scroll down and select Email Accounts (POP3). 3.Select the user you'd like to add an auto responder to. Click the checkbox next to "Enable Responder". Enter your auto responder message in the box below this setting. 4.Click Save.
To disable an Auto Responder, just click the checkbox next to "Enable Responder" to remove the checkmark. Click Save.
