MySQL Database Migration

During the server migration, all MySQL database have been moved over. This includes any data and or users assigned to the database. If you find that after the DNS change that your database or website is not working properly, please check the following.

Make sure that your connection string for your database has been updated to use the new IP address for the database. The IP address has changed from the following IP range:

216.153.93.###
And has been updated to:
216.74.123.###

You can also find your new MySQL database IP address in the control panel. To find the information for your database, do the following:
  1. Login to the control panel at https://cp1.winscontrol.com
  2. Once logged in, click DOMAINS and the domain that has the MySQL database
  3. Now click the DATABASE MANAGER icon.
  4. Click the name of the MySQL database
  5. The next screen will show you the updated IP address for that database.
  6. Other MySQL database with this specific domain will use the same IP address and Port.
If you have other domains with MySQL database, please go back to step 2 and continue through the process again. Domains are spread across several different servers so each MySQL database may be different.

If there are any other problems that you are experiencing with your MySQL database, please email support@1planhost.com with a description of the issue you are having and we will get it corrected for you.
